Welcome to the Sound Lounge: South Florida’s Home for Vinyl Heads and New Enthusiasts Alike

Guess what? If you thought vinyl fell off of the map, you were wrong. Vinyl album sales outstripped digital downloads for the first time. Yes, you read that correctly.

The vinyl revival is real, and according to new data released by the Entertainment Retailers Association, vinyl album sales beatdown digital album downloads in the United Kingdom in week 48 of 2016.

Shocking, we know.

But the truth is vinyl sales reached a 25-year record high last year. More than 3.2 million LPs were bought last year, more than double 2015 sales and the highest number since 1991 when Simply Red topped the charts
The amazing comeback is partly due to the many deaths of legendary musicians in 2016, with people turning more to records as mementos, but also the tangible benefits of holding a vintage record in your hand, dropping the pin, and the accompanying unique listening experience vinyl provides.
So you better believe that we’re taking advantage of this opportunity to play some of our favorite tracks from the 70s and 80s on turntables and headphones that benefit from advancements in modern technology.

In fact, we even designed and built a home for turntables, vinyl, and records in our showroom!

Here you will be able to pull original vinyl records off of our shelves, sit back, relax, and listen to your favorite vintage tracks on our headphones and turntables. So without further adieu, we’d like to invite you to The Sound Lounge – South Florida’s Home for Vinyl Heads and New Enthusiasts alike.

No worries, there isn’t a towering bouncer policing the door or ridiculous cover charge to enter. It’s a place to listen to our music library and wide collection of pop, rock, and jazz records on the top-of-the-line turntables and headphones.

So feel free to drop into our showroom and turn back time. Better yet, bring in a handful of your dirty vinyl records to get them cleaned and hear how they’re supposed to sound. Trust me; you’ll thank us later.
