Working With Us
From the moment you enter our nationally recognized, state of the art Design Center, you will notice the vast amount of products and design ideas available to you. We will guide you through the various options, till we decide on the very best for your particular needs. The goal isn’t to decide on specific components initially, but understand and agree upon a concept and price and performance level that you are comfortable with. As we move through the process, we will begin narrowing down the specific products that make the most sense. Once your system has been designed and engineered, we will coordinate with all pertinent parties regarding the installation of your system.
Your Sound Components Project Manager will regularly inspect your home to make sure the architect, builder, and other sub contractors prepare the groundwork properly. Our installers set the wiring neatly inside walls and ceilings, and mount the speaker and switches properly at the appropriate time. Prior to the actual installation of the electronics, we wire and program the electronics at our facility to test all functions and “burn them in”, thereby allowing us to find any potential problems early on – saving you from experiencing the failure in your home. The installation crew then delivers your system to your home, and completes the installation. Following installation, the program is loaded onto the system and thoroughly checked for completeness. Once finalized, we will train you and your entire family on the use of your new system.

Meet the Sound Components team.
A 30 year veteran of the audio, video, and home automation industry, Bill has managed Sound Components for the last 26 years. Bill’s background is in audiophile sound and high end video, but his expertise includes everything from smart home technology to home security. In addition, he is also a certified lighting specialist with the American Lighting Association. Bill’s knowledge of construction and architecture has enabled him to design beautiful, intelligently integrated home entertainment systems and smart homes. Finally, once the job is done, Bill prides himself on maintaining strong personal relationships with clients, many of whom become long term friends, 24/7 availability, and having his top-tier team of Sound Components team members to back him up.

What was initially a high school hobby later turned into a career for John, who has been in the business since 1998. Not a single day goes by without him learning something new in this field. He has met incredible clients, worked with talented contractors, and of course created amazing projects. “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life” without doubt rings true for John.
Technology Design & Sales Specialist
Nelson is a Miami native with over 20 years of technology experience in both Residential and Commercial markets. Throughout his 20 years in the technology field, he has held positions in Project & Sales Management. His extensive experience in both areas allows him to initiate, plan and execute large projects successfully. Nelson thrives on meeting new clients and maintaining lasting relationships. His warm and friendly demeanor coupled with his extensive experience allows Nelson to take on challenges head on in order to provide the best possible solutions.
Sales Consultant & Audio Engineer
From professional audio to consumer audio, Leonardo spent most of his life enveloped in the study of sound. Previously hired at the legendary Criteria Studios in North Miami – he was fortunate enough to work with artists such as U2, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ozuna and countless others. His ever-expanding obsession of the industry leads him to provide the best experience for his clients.
Yuri is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Yuri holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, contractors and designers, resulting in successful experiences. Yuri has been with Sound Components since 1996. He was the first installer for the company and has gone from installation, to developing our service department, to now managing our installation team and our various projects throughout South Florida. With a degree in Audio/Video from technical college in Havana, Yuri has over 20 years of experience overseeing all phases of audio/video projects, including both residential and commercial.
